At ul. Klimczaka 6A, unit U3, in Wilanów, you will find Brodski Barbershop. It is a hairdressing spot aimed purely at male clients, one of several service businesses that over the last few years filled the ground floor along Klimczaka, the same street as the Royal Wilanów office building and the Ferment bakery, both already covered on this blog. The entrance is right off the pavement, and street parking nearby is plentiful, which for residents of the further parts of Wilanów tends to be more practical than driving to a bigger shopping center.
On Booksy, the platform through which bookings run, the salon has a rating of 4.9. On its own site, brodski.pl, the barbers use the slogan "First we cut well" and say the salon offers free coffee and an Xbox console while you wait, and that you can bring your dog along. The salon describes itself as having run for five years, with around three thousand regular clients and ten thousand haircuts completed, though those figures come from the business's own presentation, not an independent source.
Services and prices
A classic haircut costs 130 zloty and takes about 45 minutes, while a haircut for long hair costs 160 zloty and takes an hour. A beard trim is priced at 110 zloty for 30 minutes, and the version finished with a straight razor costs 140 zloty for 45 minutes. The most popular package, Combo, a haircut together with beard styling, costs 200 zloty for 90 minutes, at one fixed price with no extra charges. For clients with grey hair there is a cover treatment, greying coverage for the beard or head, for 100 zloty, 30 minutes.
The salon is open Monday to Saturday from 10 to 21, and on Sunday from 10 to 20, which in practice means almost every day, still not the norm among hairdressing businesses in Wilanów. You can book through Booksy or by phone at +48 886 666 239, and the online booking process lets you pick a specific barber from the team, not just an open time slot. For residents of Miasteczko Wilanów and Błonia Wilanowskie it is one of the few barbershop options within a short walk, without having to drive to a shopping center.
