A few dozen meters from the Park Kultury car park in Powsin, on ul. Opieńki, there is a fenced smallholding that looks from the outside like an ordinary village farm. This is the Four Seasons educational farm, run by the Pachlewski family, right at the edge of the Kabacki Forest, reached from ul. Przekorna.
The farm is home to horses, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, ornamental chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys. For children, the best part is getting genuinely close to the animals: petting a goat, feeding the ducks, looking into the stable. On top of that there are a few attractions that need no animal at all: soap bubbles, a trampoline and a fake cow that kids can try milking, popular especially with children who have never seen it done in person.
When to Visit and What It Costs
The farm welcomes individual visitors on weekends, weather permitting. In heavy rain the farm is sometimes closed. A regular ticket costs 20 zloty, a reduced one 15 zloty, and children under two get in free. During the week the farm runs educational activities for kindergartens and schools in parallel, so before a weekend visit it is worth calling ahead to make sure there is room, especially when planning to come with a larger group.
Besides visits, the farm also organizes children's birthday parties, corporate picnics, first communions, christenings and outdoor weddings, with access to the animals and a wooden cottage for rent. The number for the educational offer, kindergartens and schools, is +48 794 712 224, and for commercial events, meaning birthdays and other occasions, it is +48 609 790 141. Both are staffed from 10:00 to 18:00.
Getting there by car is simple: the car park is free and shared with Park Kultury, so one trip can combine a walk in the park, a visit to the Botanical Garden across the street and a stop at the farm. It is a rare attraction in Wilanów that combines contact with real animals with the closeness of a forest, without having to leave the district at all.
