Two pharmacies in one district, both under the same brand, but in completely different settings. The first is part of the Medicover Hospital at al. Rzeczypospolitej 5. The second sits on the ground floor of the Royal Wilanow office building at ul. F. Klimczaka 1. For anyone who does not live near either one, the difference between them is not obvious, so it is worth laying out both separately.
The pharmacy at al. Rzeczypospolitej 5 is open 365 days a year. Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 21:00, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 19:00. The entrance is from the hospital's main hall, past the reception desk, so it is easy to miss if you are looking for a separate street entrance. The phone number for this location is +48 668 183 119. Hospital patients can use a free, multi level car park on site, which is a rare thing to find in this part of Wilanow.
A second location, different hours
The pharmacy in Royal Wilanow at ul. F. Klimczaka 1 keeps shorter hours. Monday to Friday 8:00 to 20:00, Saturday 8:00 to 14:00, according to the contact details table on Medicover's website. The phone number for this location is +48 660 629 140. The pharmacy sits on the ground floor of the office building, the same building as SkyDesk and the Medicover Optyk practice, and customers get a free parking spot on level minus one.
Both pharmacies stock prescription drugs, compounded preparations made to order, supplements, and dermocosmetics. That is the standard range of a chain pharmacy, not just a narrow hospital assortment.
Collecting an e-prescription works the same way at both locations. A doctor issues the prescription electronically, and the patient receives an access code through the Medicover OnLine app, the patient portal, or by text message if they ordered the prescription by phone through +48 500 900 500. At the pharmacy, you only need to give the pharmacist your PESEL number and the four digit code from the message. You do not have to use a pharmacy from the same chain that issued the prescription, since an e-prescription works at any pharmacy in Poland.
A separate option is reserving a specific medicine in advance. Medicover's website runs a product search tool for its pharmacy network that, once you enter your location, shows the nearest locations that have the item in stock and lets you reserve it before you arrive. That is a useful option when you are after a medicine you do not want to chase through several pharmacies in a row.
