Wilanów's business map gained a new address this September. In the heart of the Royal Wilanów office building at ul. Klimczaka 1, a coworking space called SkyDesk has opened. It is an eight storey office building with more than 30,000 square metres of space, where office floors sit above shops, restaurants and cafes on the ground floor and level minus one. SkyDesk occupies the part of the building set aside for flexible work.
The offer is built for small teams, from single entrepreneurs to groups of about a dozen people, as well as for anyone organising meetings or training sessions. Private offices can be rented for a company's own needs, fully serviced and with no hidden costs on the price list. On top of that, tenants can register their company at the prestigious Royal Wilanów address, including mail handling, something that matters to some clients as much as the desk itself.
A podcast studio as the distinguishing feature
What sets SkyDesk apart from other flexible offices in the area is its own podcast studio. Both regular tenants and outside clients can use it to record audio and video material, without having to book a professional studio elsewhere in the city. The operator also emphasises the networking side of the business, meaning events and space for local entrepreneurs to exchange contacts, not just desk rental.
SkyDesk is not the first offer of this kind at Royal Wilanów. The same building has housed Bee Creative for years, a coworking space run by Capital Park Group with twenty office rooms, two conference rooms and a shared area with 22 workstations. The new player is therefore entering a spot where demand for flexible office space is already proven. The same trend is visible across the whole district. At Wilanów Office Park on ul. Branickiego, the operator The Shire, Beyond Coworking recently took over 3,200 square metres in the Be the One building.
For Wilanów residents who work remotely or run a one person business, this simply means more choice closer to home. Instead of commuting to central Warsaw for a desk for the day or a meeting room for a client, it is increasingly enough to go down to the ground floor of their own neighbourhood.
