Summer is winding down, and with it the loose, open afternoon schedule that comes with it. Centrum Kultury Wilanow (the Wilanow Cultural Center) has published its class plans for the new season, which starts on September 7 and 8, 2026 (the exact day depends on the venue) and runs through July 31, 2027. Parents looking for regular classes for their kids can already browse the offer and sign up for specific time slots.
Where the classes take place
CKW runs classes at seven venues spread across the district, with an eighth set to join soon. The main location is at ul. Kolegiacka 3, the same address where the Wilanow Public Library operates. In Powsin, at ul. Przyczółkowa 27A, an ethnographic workshop runs out of a rectory building more than a hundred years old. The Dom Pracy Twórczej (House of Creative Work) is located at ul. Ptysiowa 3, and the Międzypokoleniowe Centrum Edukacji (Intergenerational Education Center) is at ul. Radosna 11. The offer includes dance classes, including classical ballet for children aged five to seven, art and model making workshops for older kids from age eight, plus music, theater, and educational classes, as well as fitness and yoga for adults.
Registration works in two ways: through the Strefa Zajęć platform, or directly at the center's venues. The front desk at Kolegiacka is open Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 9 pm, at +48 22 651 98 20 and +48 668 417 228, and that is the easiest place to ask about open spots in a specific group before committing to an online sign up. Full pricing and exact class times are worth checking directly on kulturawilanow.pl, since they vary by workshop and participant age.
For families living in different parts of Wilanow, the number of locations matters in practice. You do not need to cross the whole district for your child to make it to ballet or model making, since CKW's venues cover both Miasteczko Wilanow and Powsin. Registration is open now, and since popular groups tend to fill up fast, anyone with firm plans for September should not wait too long to decide.
