Wilanów is gearing up for two days of celebration. On September 11 and 12, this year's edition of Wilanów Days will take place, a district festival that pairs the concert energy of Plaża Wilanów with something rarer: the grand opening of a restored historic building.

Friday, September 11, is the musical day. At 6:00 PM a concert kicks off at Plaża Wilanów with performances by Bajm, Zalia, Roxie and the duo Kuba i Kuba. One stage will bring together big hits, contemporary sounds and artists spanning different generations of Polish music. Admission, as with every part of the Wilanów Days program, is free.

Saturday at the station on Kostki Potockiego

On Saturday, September 12, the focus shifts to the area around the historic Wilanów Railway station at ul. Kostki Potockiego 31. That is where the grand opening of the restored building will take place, described by organizers as a symbolic return of an important place to the district's map and the start of a new chapter for it. We already wrote about the renovation of this century old station and what moved into it: a new home for the Wilanów Culture Centre, a tourist information point with a restored 1937 railway carriage standing next to the building, and a cafe with a garden in the patio. Now residents will finally get to see the result with their own eyes, not just from behind scaffolding.

For the whole of Wilanów Days 2026, organizers promise musical headliners, a family picnic, craft elements and workshops, historical threads tied to the old narrow gauge railway, and a spectacular illumination show. The exact hour by hour schedule for individual attractions is being published by the district on its own channels as the date approaches.

Wilanów Days is an annual event meant to bring residents together, and each edition has its own program and its own performers. This year's edition stands out for combining two very different registers: a purely entertaining part on the beach on Friday, and a far more symbolic part tied to reclaiming a historic building for local culture on Saturday.

For families with kids, both days mean a good excuse to spend time outdoors without spending a single zloty. For anyone who has followed the renovation of the station on Kostki Potockiego for months, Saturday will be the first chance to actually step inside.
